FootballOE was founded in 2016 to facilitate overseas playing experiences for amateur and semi professional players from the UK and Europe.

Director John Sigurdsson has played football for 30 years in New Zealand and spent one season in London playing for IBiS FC. Therefore he understands the benefits of an overseas experience, both on and off the field and how it can advance a players career and enhance a clubs season.

FootballOE acts as an agent to assist players to find their dream club in New Zealand or Australia. Likewise we work closely with clubs to help them find the missing piece of their puzzle.

In 2016 we placed 2 players into New Zealand who had a very successful season, helping their team to a championship, more on the testimonials page.

In April 2015, FIFA adopted new Regulations on Working with Intermediaries which supersede the previous Player Agent Regulations. New Zealand Football does not have its own Regulations on Working with Intermediaries and therefore will operate under FIFA's Regulations which can be found here. FootballOE also adhere to these regulations.

So whether you are a club or a player, FootballOE looks forward to working with you.

Testimonials

New Plymouth Rangers would have no hesitation in recommending FootballOE.com and John Sigurdsson to any clubs looking to source an overseas player next season. FootballOE made the process very easy for us and found us 2 players that added a lot to our club on and off the field. We will be using their service again next year.

New Plymouth Rangers – November 2016

In 2016 I spent 6 months in New Zealand playing football for New Plymouth rangers, this was an opportunity for me to experience playing abroad and one I would do again. John was great to work with and it was a breeze setting me up in New Zealand. It was an amazing experience and the club couldn’t have made it any better for me, with a successful season and getting to play in a team full of great talent, I would highly recommend playing abroad, it’s a lifetime opportunity that you can’t turn down.

Josh Bolton – October 2016
